A Little Google My Business Housekeeping

There's a good chance you have a Google My Business page, even if you don't remember setting it up.

Another issue you might want to check on is if you have multiple Google My Business Pages. You should only have one page for your business. Some business owners have inadvertently set up multiple pages and may have a bit of a mess to unwind. If you do find that you have multiple listing, you may be able to just merge them by following these instructions: Remove or Report Duplicate Locations: https://support.google.com/business/answer/4669139?hl=en

Last but not least, to interact with Google My Business, you can easily do it through your Twitter Account. You can post a question on their Google Small Business Page and follow the other tips that are posted: https://twitter.com/GoogleSmallBiz


A Few other things to check on your page;

1. Are your Name, Address, and Phone the exact same as your website.

2. Is the category precise and best matches your services?

3. Have you included a keyword rich description of your business and services?

4. Is you website listed in the profile?

5. have you posted images of your business, your team, your product?

Either way, stay consistent and add updates, photos, new services, respond to reviews, etc so that your business can be found. Adding complete info helps Google to better understand your business and match your listing to relevant searches.
